A luxurious house in the perfect location. Well equipped, great standard - very, very nice. We recommend you to stay in the hot tub just a bit longer; absolutely wonderful!

We had a wonderful time staying for 10 days at Smarahlid. It was a really lovely family holiday home - spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable beds, and well-appointed with everything you could want, even extra towels for taking to the pools. The kids especially loved the pool table and the hot tub. It was in a beautiful location with lovely views and surrounded by sheep and horses. It was convenient for visiting locations from Reykavik to Vik, We would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We have just come back from a fantastic week in Smarahlid. Every one of us (8) loved this house and a thank you to Sigga who helped us initially with the hot tub mechanism, you were the perfect host! Beautiful hot tub with perfect views and an amazing sauna. The kids did not stop playing pool! We thoroughly recommend this house to anyone. Also fabulous location for all of South Iceland's outstanding array of attractions.

Smarahlid was a perfect holiday home for our family of five. Very clean and very well equipped, can't think of anything that was missing. We loved evenings in the hot tub following a long day of sightseeing and the pool table was a great addition to keeps the family occupied. The location was ideal to explore all of Southern Iceland's attractions and sights. Would definitely recommend and would love to return, but maybe next time in Winter.
