Harvest was both spacious and cozy, with outdoor seating and an active bar. We ordered the three-course prix fixe menu whose ingredients came from a local farm. The cucumber soup was topped with creme fraiche and savory tastes such as pickle and prosciutto. The entree was perfectly seared sea bass with three fat vegetable tortellini, served in a thin broth which became seasoned with each fork-pierce. The meal finished with a berry tart (including currants!) on shortbread edged with sesame seeds and a dab of smooth lemon ice cream. Service was attentive and wines pricey but good, with a thoughtful and knowledgeable advice on what to order with the dishes. The restaurant manages to be both tucked away and centrally situated in Harvard Square.
