Large stone room. Brilliant location tucked away in a quiet street but very close to the sea and just a short walk to the magnificent cathedral. We paid E50 a night which was a fair price without breakfast. Room had little kitchen but you can just about roll out of bed to find your breakfast at the sea front so we didn't use it. We were in Trani in cold wet weather and the room was a little cold. Free wifi worked well. Trani is magnificent.

Agree, with the previous reviewer; the room downstairs looks fantastic but they need to get the basics right first. Fundamentally I'm not sure how you can market yourself as a B&B when you do not provide breakfast. You are just a B!

Lack of windows makes you feel a bit claustrophobic and €80 per night for room only is a bit steep compared to some of the other beautiful places we stayed in Puglia for less money.

Location is good but hard to find, even with sat nav. Best to park up by the cathedral and navigate on foot. Trani is very beautiful though and definitely worth a visit, just perhaps not here, or get one of the other rooms.

We found this B & B through the Rough Guide. It's located behind the Trani Marina, in a little claustrophobic alley. The room has magnificent amenities like a flat screen TV, high tech shower (surrounded by original mid-evil stone), safe, motion sensor lights, air conditioning and beautiful wood floors, but no windows that can be opened. Overall, spectacular, maybe for a movie set, not for a good nights sleep. We stayed in a room located on the ground floor which is really a sort of mid-evil canteen with stone walls and a very musty and damp smell. If you touch the stones at night, you can really feel that they are wet.. We had to leave after one night because we were not able to sleep. The air was damp and musty and the bed linens were damp. It's a shame because there are other rooms up stairs (very steep), first floor and second floor with windows. They were not available. Make sure if you want to stay there, ask for the rooms on the upper floors not the one on the ground floor! By the way, there is no breakfast provided as there is no one on site, it's more of a room rental then a B & B.
