Well located hotel - just a few minutes walk from the beach and the town centre. Extremely comfortable rooms and excellent facilities. The pool is an especially lovely feature. The service is extraordinary. Help with rentals, travel advice and just very friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is much prettier than in the pictures, which was a lovely surprise. We didn’t spend too much time there because we were busy exploring, but the room was great to come home to and the shower had good pressure too! Staff was great. Seems like the team goes above and beyond for guests. Francesca gave thoughtful (and awesome!) recommendations throughout our stay. Night manager was so nice helping us find our way and welcoming us. Shuttle was available on demand, which was helpful because finding a parking spot in Cala Gonone is crazy. They make delicious “packet lunches” for you to take if boating for the day. All in all, highly recommend!!
All the staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help with any queries we had. Particular praise goes to Francesca on reception who humoured my attempts at speaking (bad!) Italian and also recommended and booked a nearby restaurant for us, which was fantastic!!
The photos of the hotel on Booking.com showed pictures of the roast suckling pig but this wasn’t on the menu, which was disappointing (hence our request for a recommendation from Francesca!) but we did eat in the restaurant at the hotel, which was nice.
We felt as though the hotel was generally better suited to families, rather than couples (but I think that is normal with the pool being the focal point) but we had a lovely stay all the same.
There wasn’t much to see in or around Cala Gonone but we hired a car to go out exploring.
We spent 11 nights here. All staff were friendly.lovely peaceful swimming pool. Which we spent a lot of our holiday. We had a comfort room. The only comment about the room was the bathroom. The shower could be updated along with the hair dryer.
We ate in the restaurant lunch and dinner a few times. One comment we probably would of ate there more but limited lunch menu which didn’t change in our 11 nights. Along with the dinner menu . The town was only 15 minutes walk which we didn’t mind. And lots of restaurants to choose from. Worth a visit.
We went on a couple on boat trips to get to the beach.
We hope to go back. We both had a lovely time.
Fabulous food. Staff cannot be more helpful. Lovely relaxing place to stay. Great wine too. Ideal location for a short walk into the main town. Took paddleboards and the location was perfect for access to isolated beaches and the caves etc.
We will definitely be back.
Thank you so much - it was a great stay - great breakfast, super nice staff, nice pool and very very quite - we loved it. The distance to the centre is a 15 min walk - but there is also a (not included) shuttle - again- thank you mrs. Reception lady - you did a great job !!!
