I picked this hotel based on its proximity to the Lowell train station. Also, there are several good restaurants within walking distance and the National Historical Park is also close by. Service was very good, room was nice and comfortable. My only "complaint" was that the hotel does not have a pool. I remember it did have a pool back when it was the Doubletree.

Good Morning Tsling,

I hope you are having a wonderful Friday. I wanted to reach out and thank you for your wonderful review of our property. Our central location to downtown Lowell is one of the many reasons why guests book here and I'm glad you were able to enjoy the city. Unfortunately we do not have a pool on property due to the most recent renovation in 2010. For your next visit, we can recommend a place close by with a pool such as the YMCA or a local beach. Once again we appreciate your honest feedback and we look forward to having you stay with us again.

Best Regards,
Eric Arnold

Spent three nights here, the service was wonderful, Eric the manger was awesome.
The view from our room was awesome, almost like you're in the caribbean watching a waterfall. The only shortfall is , I wish the bathrooms had vents, the bathroom became very foggy after taking a shower.

Room tip: ask if there are refrigerators in the rooms.

The accommodations were average..no complaints. I'm out of town for business every week, for the week. The best part of my stay was finding the very competent, witty, friendly, and entertaining bartender Debra. She was very hospitable to everyone, while also being very engaged and interested in conversations...along with being very skilled at pouring and mixing drinks.. always with a beautiful smile. She was patient while teaching one of the servers how to pour and mix drinks, which also speaks to her skill set. So, after a long, hard day at work, it is nice to find a place where I can wind down, throw a couple back and chill with my "roll dog". As long as I'm staying at this hotel, I will definitely be an irregular regular at the bar...kudos Deb

Dear Swadey8,

Let me start by agreeing with you that Debbie is one amazing bartender. I am overjoyed that you were able to take in the city of Lowell while enjoying a nice cocktail with Debbie. The hotel and its staff appreciate all of the amazing comments that you left for us. Rest assured that Debbie heard all about your review from multiple managers here on property and she appreciates your kind words. We look forward to seeing you back here with us at the bar and enjoying a good cocktail at 50 Warren Lounge.

We stayed at this hotel for a night during our road trip, the location was great, the canal view was exceptional, the lobby was very modern and clean, the rooms were spacious & fairly clean, but a bit dated and the air conditioning in some rooms was a bit noisy, but not really worth a complain and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Lowell.

The bartender, Debbie went above & beyond for us & our son's family. The bar was well stocked with a variety & she knew how to make excellent cocktails too!! The room was average. We attempted to turn the faucet on when we arrived & we couldn't. We felt like it would break if we tried harder. They sent up a really nice maintenance man right away & he resolved the issue by instructing us that we could use extra force to push the handle. The hot water is set on ludicrous hot. We did get stuck in one of the elevators as it would not open the door to allow us out onto the first floor, but bounced up and down between floors 1 & 2. When we finally got off on the second floor, we took the stairs to our destination.

Dear Diane P,

First, I would like to thank you for your wonderful comments about our staff members. Your words have already been passed on to their managers and the other team members for valuable feedback. Our staff members try to exceed guests expectations and it sounds like Debbie and our maintenance department tried to live up to our standard. I apologize for the inconvenience with our elevators. Just to inform you, we have already alerted a third party company and they have been here trying to fix the elevators for any incoming guests. Thank you for bringing the issue to the staff's attention and also for giving us your honest feedback. We hope to have you back here with us in Lowell again very soon.

Best Regards,
