My wife and I are not yet full fledged RV people. In fact the RV we bought - an old 1980 Coachmen - was a complete impulse buy. It showed up in an unrelated craigslist search. Since we had a trip to JC coming up for Christmas, and the price was unbelievable, we picked it up, threw in some new vinyl flooring, slapped on a quick red/white paint job and hit the road bound for the Miller Creek RV Resort. We definitely could not have picked a better place!

Each RV has plenty of elbow room among the others with a little plot of grass and a pick-nick table. The facilities, overall, are impeccably maintained. We did not have hot water in our little RV so we showered in the private bathrooms and they are HUGE! Everyone we met - from the owners to other RV folk - were very nice and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again...although probably with a newer RV!

Stopped for an overnight break on a trip from South Padre Island. Needed a pull through site so we wouldn't have to do all that's entailed in getting our car off the tow dolly and then the tow dolly off the motor home. Because we wouldn't get in until after the office closed, we reserved a spot with our credit card, and the receipt and site map were waiting for us on the office door when we got in. Very impressed with the landscaping and overall appearance of the place. Pull through site was very long - easily fit 38' motor home and tow dolly with car on it on the space with room to spare front and back. Because we got in late there weren't any other people around so can't speak to how friendly (or not) everyone was. We pulled up and left early before anyone was stirring. We would definitely stay here again if passing through this way and needed a stopping place.

Room tip: If pulling a "toad" there are many pull through spaces.

We loved our stay here. We requested a spot by the creek, and it was well worth the extra $5. The creek and park itself are just beautiful. It is quiet there and everyone is very friendly. We enjoyed fishing and taking evening walks. I love that this place is centrally located to so many great places. Fredericksburg, San Antonio and Austin are not too far away at all. Also, there is quite a bit to do in Johnson City as well. We planned on spending two days in Fredericksburg, but ended up spending a full day exploring Johnson City! We really can't wait to come back here for another stay.

If your looking for a campground that is well maintained, beautiful, peaceful, and easy to get to, this is the best one. Many have shade. There is a nice club house, meeting room, laundry, restrooms, and cabins for those who need them! At least once, come here to unwind and rest!

My husband and I stayed at Miller Creek RV this past weekend for our anniversary and it was a wonderful stay. The park is clean and owners are friendly. The only complaint I have is that one of the permanent residents rides a Harley and 6:15 am on Monday morning we were blown out of bed by racking Harley pipes.. ugh!!!! So next time we will request a spot closer to the front of the park or on the other side of the creek. Other than that rude resident, the stay was perfect. While there, go to the back where the exercise room is and you may meet an older gentleman named Radio Rogers. He's usually there everyday tinkering around making things. You will be in for delightful conversation and he may even give you one of his handmade Chicken Flippers or name signs! This RV park is definitely on our list to visit again.

Room tip: Request an RV spot closer to the front of the park or on the other side of the creek due to the bike rider that lives there in the back as his motorcycle is extremely loud. Don't let this info make you pass on this RV park tho, other than that noise that happened once while there it is a wonderful RV park.
