I travel a lot and have a pretty high tolerance for things that can go wrong. Not this time. I left livid.
1) Over a period of over an hour, I tried calling the hotel to find out how late the restaurant was open during my layover. 3/4 calls went completely unanswered. 1/4 was answered,but I was put on hold and stayed there for over 15 minutes till I hung up.
2) When I arrived, the restaurant was closed. I explained my `calling experience and got no apology but an excuse that they were hosting a wedding. um- so what? Don't you increase your staffing for big events? Really, how is not answering the phone for over an hour ok?
3) She proceeds t recommend an irish bar across the street that serves food until 2 am. Great. Unfortunately, it was the loudest bar I've ever been in, and all they served was apps.
4) When I showered the next morning, I found a long hair in the shower that certainly didn't belong to me. Gross.More
