Located in strip mall area in Wellesley. Warmly greeted, and friendly service throughout the meal. Some options (especially the dosas) just are not available at other places. The wine/beer options are limited here. Food was good, but lacked the polish of some other top end options nearby.

We drove 60 miles to eat at this restaurant. The food is more authentic and shall I say more homely than any offerings in Cville.

Let me explain - they will make “chapati” or whole wheat puffed bread for you that are much healthier than “naan”.

The gravy of paneer tikka has the least cream of any Indian fare. The eggplant and green dal were delicious.

Bottom line- you can eat semi-healthy authentic Indian here. Make no mistake, this is no Michelin starred gem but certainly a respite for the Soul tired of cooking and looking for decent fare.

We live nearby but only moved to Richmond this year, and hadn’t made it here yet. Partly it was probably because it didn’t look like much from the outside. It was a Saturday at lunchtime, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a buffet on a weekend. Buffets can be hit or miss, but this was a good one. The owners were very attentive and explained some of the dishes and made suggestions such as dipping sauces. The food was of a surprisingly high quality and neither too spicy nor too mild. The naan was prepared freshly and soft and warm. A great choice for a good meal!

My wife and I discovered this restaurant a few weeks ago. It is about 30 miles from our home, but we have been there about 5 times (around once per week). Reason: excellenet, authentic, non-Americanized Indian cuisine. Many restaurants tone down the spices in food, but I do not think this place does.
We have attended their weekend buffet several times. Everything is excellent. We have also ordered from the menu-- excellent, authentic Indian curry (spicy -- as it ought to be).
Also, this place servers dosas -- a kind of sourdough pancake / crepe made from rice flour. I love these!!
If you want to tase what real Southern Indian food should tase like, this is the place! You will usually notice several Indian customers (not always the case in many local Indian places). Worth driving for!

I was very much looking forward to this dinner. It was good but not great. It was a bit pricey for the portions and surprisingly low in flavor. It was good but not great. Granted I got take out so maybe dining in will be better.
