We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Hotel Dufour and had a fantastic time.
The food was great - the 4 course meal came out quickly each night and had 3 or 4 choices for each course.
Hotel is close to the Ponta Jolanda Chair lift (1 min walk) and when it snowed we skied back to the hotel (along the road a bit!)
The best thing about the hotel was the service. We had a group of 10 and were always able to find somewhere to sit and have a drink or two. If you go to the lounge downstairs Mimo sends the drinks down in a dumb waiter which was really handy!
The hotel staff always went out of their way to make us happy, nothing seemed too much trouble. (Despite us being told off after being noisy on one member of our groups birthday!) We had a vegetarian in our group and the restaurant staff went overboard to make sure she was ok.
Beds were comfortable, bathroom was small but fine. Initially decor seems the only questionable part of the hotel but everything blends in ok as you get used to it!!
All in all, a fantastic holiday made all the better by the staff at the Dufour!
