Quiet hotel with small pool.
No animations in the hotel.
More suitable for couples or adults and less for families with children.
Good and testy dinner for the price (10 euros), but the drinks with extra charge.

Hotel
You get what you pay for, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, large family room, with 2 single beds, and 2 foldable beds, one wardrobe not sufficient for all our clothes, you have to pay a daily rate to use the safe, the outside pool is in good condition, the inside one on the 6th floor, had dead f lys in it, and the exercise equipment was dated and not worth using. The breakfast is good, and cooked nicely, however it you go after 9, we had to use small plates, young girl in reception was nice and helpful, as are the kitchen staff, small fridge in room is great, I never use mini bar, but nice to have an empty fridge. Plugs are UK standard 240volts 3 pin.

Shower is old, but clean and hot water is good.
Room came with small tv, small fridge, hairdryer, lots of spare plug sockets, kettle tea and coffee.

Location
1st day not easy to find, coach dropped us off on main road, driver said, it up there, hotel does have a sign outside on the corner, on the main road there is an English pub called images, had lunch in there twice, it's nice, if busy canvrake time for the food to come, looks like the lady in there does everything, again she was nice pointed us in the direction of Iceland, which seemed cheaper than other stores, and say 2 minutes walk from hotel, took my suitcase to Iceland and bought lots of cans of drinks and bottled water.

Noise
Whilst I was here, it was peace full, this hotel has no entertainment, no music. From my room 109 on the 1st floor, I could hear the people by the pool and people having coffee below, Very quiet.

Overall
It's ok, it's clean tidy and quiet, air con in the room, no shops or anything next to hotel, and lots of abandoned hotels around it, one just accross the road. Not sure I would recommend to younger generation, I am over 40 and I quite liked the not so busy overcrowded environment.

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you visit Malta. Price was very reasonable and the location is just perfect. Walkable distance to the restaurants' area and walking distance to the beach. You do not need to have a car if you choose this restaurant.

We were a group of 17 people that included 9 children. We found the Hotel had friendly staff and want to thank Simon (Manager) for all help to make our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast and Dinner had good choices and we loved the food variety to choose from. The hotel is close to pub's, restaurant ect.
Would recommend this hotel to anybody.
