Stayed for a week on bed and breakfast . For what this hotel cost it was fantastic.
Breakfasts although not a huge choice what they did have was very good quality . One day sausage and scrambled egg next day bacon and fried eggs etc . All the usual cereals yoyhurts pastries . All good quality nice hot drinks in a lovely dining room of a good size .
Bedroom was a good size . Nice shower . Bed a bit to firm for me but tolerable . Good size balcony at the back of hotel but overlooking wasteland with a few rundown cars and old half demolished buildings on it . The hotel is one street behind a busy road that leads to a good selection of cafes and pubs and some nice restaurants . All hotel staff are very professional at there jobs . I braved the march winds and spent few hours on rooftop terrace . Would be fantastic when weather a bit calmer . Lovely views . Didnt have evening meals here due to amount of food places about so cannot comment . Although i wasnt a big fan of qawra i would return to the sunflower as a base while exploring other parts of the island as it offers good value for money and decent standards . Well done nice clean place .
