This resort was right by the sea and had good restaurants nearby and although it was out from the busy areas it provided excellent and cheap public transport. All the staff at the resort were most helpful and friendly and the apartment bigger than expected with a sea view.

This is the nicest timeshare that we have ever stayed in and our perspective is the dozens of trips all over the world. The staff was very helpful, the facility was outstanding, our room had a view of the ocean that could have been a postcard. The public bus to Valletta stops right at the property. We will be back!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was spacious and fully equipped with everything you need to cook for yourself, although we ate a great breakfast each morning in the restaurant and dinner was excellent too. We were lucky enough to have a sea view also. The hotel is very clean and the staff we’re extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Great value for money.

The Sunny Coast hotel is very nice. Clean, spacious apartment. We were upgraded to a two room apartment which was much appreciated as our teenage daughter would not have liked the sofa bed in the living area as she would have had no privacy and we all would have felt a bit cramped. Big bedrooms though and comfy beds. Decent bathroom and kitchen facilities. Really very nice apartment and friendly helpful staff.
The only downside was the noise, some from building work, which is probably unavoidable anywhere in Malta, but most of the noise came from the dual carriageway half a mile away across the bay which seems to be Malta's racetrack! With the windows closed it's not bad but open it's quite intrusive. This must be an issue for many other local hotels not just this one.
The pool is lovely, not very salty and quiet in October. Lots of loungers and all clean and well maintained.
There are several restaurants right next to the hotel and the walk along the coast towards the Aquarium is lovely. Not much in the way of supermarkets nearby but enough mini marts for basic supplies. Bus stop the the rest of Malta is right outside. Buses are cheap and punctual but very busy.
PS Don't miss the motor museum in Qawra - it's excellent!

Slight hiccup with our room when we arrived, given the wrong one and had to faff a bit getting that sorted but not the end of the world
Rooms are spacious, more so than the pictures online show, and very clean/ well presented.
Location is good, right along the seafront of the bay... shame about all the building works going on in the surrounding area but to be honest from travelling around malta over the week this seems to just be a theme of the island currently so hardly the hotels fault.
Pool area is just across the road, nice big pool on the bayside... surprising amount of shade though, first time i’ve actually found it harder to get into the sun than out at a hotel pool. Also 4 of the water features here were not working when we used it... 3 jacuzzi’s and a fountain shower so that was annoying.
Staff at the pool side bar were very rude, namely a blonde women who’s name i didn’t catch... clearly gave us the wrong drink and when we questioned it she refused to change it, rolled her eyes and walked away. Not the best customer service i reckon.
