Wow what a wonderful place! Rick and Kathy were wonderful. We had a tour of the property upon arrival and were shown our beautiful room. We stayed in Christine and loved it. The bed is so comfortable and we loved the bathroom and the jetted two person tub. Definitely worth the extra cost. The innkeepers are so friendly and kind. We even joined them in watching the Super Bowl Sunday night! Breakfast was wonderful. My husband commented that he though he was on the Food Network. We had the yogurt and baked granola, and the best homemade hot chocolate ever. The only downside.... we only got to stay one night :-) We left that morning for skiing at Killington, which the Inn was an easy distance from. My advice, stop looking around and stay here!

Room Tip: We loved staying in the suites.

I don't think a better bed and breakfast could possibly exist. Kathy and Rick don't request or even mention the reviews you see here, and they are more than deserving of them. It doesn't feel like having you is their job, but rather their pleasure and passion. They are calming, classy, and humble. Bed...super comfy...the morning coffee outside your door just appears. Incredible breakfast makes your eyes grow big. When Rick asked me if I have any requests, I asked for bacon and got "Better Bacon". Do all you can to make this your getaway spot! The building and grounds are also beautiful and always accessible.

Room Tip: Clara's Corner or Malena's Tango are great choices!

The Jackson House provided a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for our stay. Rick and Kathy were so welcoming and accommodating. The bedrooms, as well as the common rooms, were beautiful and unique. The food was delicious, locally grown and prepared with care. It was hard to leave and I hope to return soon!

I visited the Jackson House Inn with a few friends for a weekend getaway out of New York City, and we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The owners were so welcoming and accommodating, and provided delicious breakfast from locally grown food! Each room was unique and our bedroom was very comfortable and charming. I hope to stay there again in the future.

While we picked one of the coldest times of year to visit Woodstock, the innkeepers at The Jackson House made us feel warm and cozy in their charming inn. We were given great recommendations for things to do in the area which was important to us on our first trip to the area. Perhaps, most of all, we will always cherish our memories of sitting by the fireplace and dining in the lovely breakfast room in this charming, well-cared-for inn, in this quintessential Vermont town. Would definately recommend to anyone wanting a perfect Vermont experience!

All the other reviews are right. This is beautiful B & B with fabulous owners!! Rick and Kathy were welcoming and helpful! Rick is an amazing chef. It really feels like you are staying with family. My husband hurt his knee snowboarding and Rick delivered a bag of ice to our room! What service!! We can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Clara's Corner is beautifu and very private.

A couple friends and I stayed at the Jackson House Inn during MLK weekend as an escape from the city to explore the slopes of Vermont. It was honestly too cold of a weekend to ski but we had an amazing time nevertheless in lovely Woodstock and at the Jackson House Inn. The Inn was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. RT and Kathy are truly inspiring in pursuing their dream of running a bed (the most comfortable!) and breakfast (overwhelmingly delicious!). Their daughter and son were both there the weekend that my friends and I stayed; the whole family played a part in welcoming us into their home.
