My husband and I have stayed here in March for the last 3 years and will continue to make this our home away from home when in Atlanta. They continue to amaze us with the top notch service and staff. Always a pleasure staying at St. Regis

The service and rooms are impeccable. Room service breakfast, as well as the breakfast on the mezzanine were great. The bar is deluxe, but gets crowded.
A few glitches, though. The Denon radio had no reception, so no music unless you bring your own CDs or IPod. The valet parking at $34/day is steep, and no self-parking was offered. We had 6 minis from the honor bar. Guess I should've looked harder for a price list: the damage was $165, including a "gratuity" for serving myself!

Room Tip: Construction is beginning near the north side. Avoid if possible.

The St Regis in Atlanta is the perfect get-a-way! It is nice that in such a big city, there is a place where you can go relax and feel as if you have traveled to a far away resort. The services, facilities and staff could not have been better.

Took my wife for a short birthday celebration. All the staff made sure to say hello as we'll as happy birthday along with proving a birthday dessert in the room for us. Great pool, facilities, and overall staff experience.

I live in Atlanta and I stayed at the St. Regis to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. My husband booked the room and a couple's massage at the spa 3 months ago.
The weekend did not start off well. When my husband called to confirm our reservation and massage, there was no record of our spa appointments. Apparently we booked through "central reservations" and they never forwarded the appointment to the Atlanta location. The spa was booked for the afternoon, so we were out of a couple's massage. I was really disappointed. The spa called up later that day to see what they could do to fix the situation. I couldn't think of anything, so my husband and I moved on with the weekend.

We arrived at the hotel and immediately drove tot he parking deck behind the hotel. It was $15 a day and self park, so we found that more economical that having the valet fetch our car every time we needed it. The deck is literally a 2 minute walk to the hotel.

We tried to check-in at 2 (check-in is at 3), but our room wasn't ready. They offered us a different room, but suggested we wait for our assigned room because it had a beautiful terrace with a lovely view of the plaza below.

We went to the bar to wait for our room. Had a nice snack and a cocktail in a really beautiful bar. Our room was ready at 3. The room was wonderful. It was a Del. King Suite with a huge terrace overlooking the plaza. The room was incredibly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is large, with a big garden tub for two.

We had a 7pm dinner reservation, so we went to the bar for the 6pm (on-the-dot) opening of champagne with a saber. Very cool and we all got a free glass of champagne which we enjoyed in the completely full bar. That bar is a happening spot! Great servers and great bartenders.

The location of the St. Regis is great. We walked to Nava for dinner and stopped at LW Chocolatier along the way for the most amazing chocolates we have ever had. When we got back to the room there was an anniversary dessert waiting for us and chocolates on the pillows.

One little snag we had was that one of the nightstand bulbs were out. Before dinner we called the front desk and asked them to fix it while we were at dinner. When we returned from dinner, the lamp was still broken. It was not a big deal, but I was surprised by the lack of attention paid to this matter.

We slept great. The room was very quiet and the temperature was perfect. After looking over the room service menu, we opted not to order any. It seemed quite expensive. They automatically add 25% gratuity, $5 service charge, and another 8 % city tax. A pot of coffee would end up to be over $20!!!! There is a J Christopher's right in the plaza, so I would recommend going there for breakfast or coffee.

Despite a few glitches, I am still giving the St. Regis 5 stars. The employees were all kind, helpful and courteous. The hotel is elegant, but not stuffy. The location is awesome too!

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the plaza, with a terrace. It is worth the extra expense for a special oc...
