We stayed here three nights in April for a family wedding in town. We, too, were "victims" of the adjacent club the first night we arrived -- after a long trip from LA, we were sound asleep, only to be awakened by folks returning from the club (we can only assume, and the hotel staff did too) at 3 AM staying in the room next door to ours. They had the music blasting and were partying loudly. We called the front desk and security was immediately sent up. When the noise started up again and we asked to be moved, someone came up within 5 minutes and took us to a very quiet upper floor (the bellman also went back to call more security to deal with the loud guests). We were impressed with how quickly the problem was resolved. Multiple family members staying there did not have this problem, guess we were just lucky! Other than that, we had a great stay. The hotel is very central to things in town and the concierge staff was very accommodating with our requests for restaurant advice/reservations. Another family member tried the spa and loved it.
We were on the top floor and our view was beautiful. The lounge in the lobby is quite the happening place, with a great selection of specialty drinks/snacks, but the atmosphere was classy/family friendly enough that we felt comfortable sitting there with our 18-year-old niece, a high school senior, and playing board games in the evenings.

Came for a 3 day conference and the hotel could not have been better. Rooms were nice, good facilities, nice lobby bar, and great food.

Stayed here three nights recently, and while modern and attractive, the hotel has significant flaws. Chief among them is that there is a tremendously noisy nightclub right across the street that will keep you awake until after 3:30 Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday nights---and perhaps others. The loud music echoes off the building---even up to 24th floor--and it sounds like your bed is just outside the club. As the night wears on and the patrons leave, the large parking lot---just across the street from the hotel---is filled with hundreds of young people, milling about, running, screaming obscenities, smashing bottles, revving up their cars, doing burnouts with their tires, honking their horns---all of it far too easy to hear in your dark but very noisy hotel room.

Room service has its own flaws---a simple order of eggs and coffe with cream shows up without salt and pepper for the eggs, and no cream. They're happy to fix it when you point it out, but by the time the room service waiter returns, your eggs are cold, as is that first cup of coffee they're also too eager to pour for you.

You want another paper in addition to the one they routinely deliver? Sure, they tell you at the front desk. But it never comes. Every day you tell them at the front desk, and they smile and say they'll fix it. They never do...

The rooms are clean and contemporary, the bathroom is very nice and well lit, but if you are going to stay in Atlanta after Wed, stay here at your own peril.

Room Tip: You must have a high floor, and ask for a room that faces away from that nightclub across the street.

We spent three nights at Loews for a recent conference and were very pleasantly surprised with the property. Nice, clean, spacious room with air conditioning that actually works. The room was next to the ice machine and elevators, which did result in some noise, but surprisingly not that much. Someone appears to have thought through the potential issues and addressed them in the design.

Good food (at the conference - we didn't use the restaurant) and a good lobby bar. To top it off, the midtown neighborhood is a block away and includes some really good funky local restaurants, like Joe's and Einstein's. It is also walking distance from Piedmont Park, which is a lovely place for some morning exercise.

On the downside, the fitness center was around 75 degrees - much too hot for my taste.

Extra ordinary hotel for our spiritual group. Don't have any word for them to explain their services. After 9 days program, no one would like to leave the hotel. We got every thing we want from them and made our program EXTRA SUCCESS. We also cook on the site using their on site kitchen for 2000 people everyday. Can any one think how much food we have to make and if we can't get the help from the hotel, what will be our position.....but we never had any one issue from the Loews Management. Great staff.
