This restaurant prides itself on the freshness of its food. And rightly so. Every dish we had was excellent - not a single complaint from the 10 of us.

Great wine list and service faultless.

What more can you ask for?

Portofino has a very nice ambience, and the outdoor seating area was especially nice on a cool spring evening. The food was very good- service could have been better and more cheery.

This visit was for dinner and we were warmly greeted by the owner, Michael Anderson and our server, James. The menu offers a nice variety and the wine list is international with focus on US and Italy. Good options for bottle or by the glass. Monthly food and wine specials are offered from various Regions of Italy. Focaccia bread and infused olive oil is served upon seating; very good. We started with the marinated grilled vegetables. Very flavorful and served at room temp. The main course was Trout with broccolini and truffled fingerling potatoes; VERY GOOD!!! Fish was moist and flavorful. Service was excellent by James!!! They also are open for Lunch and Sunday Brunch.

Went here with my family at the recommendation of our hotel concierge, and it did not disappoint!

From the fresh baked bread and olive oil, to the meatballs and goat cheese appetizers, to the pasta entrees-- all were fantastic! Also try the Brussels sprouts appetizer, which was really unique!

The house Chianti was very nice, too!

All of the food was a sensory pleasure and a delight to the palate. Kudos to the chef!

What really made the experience a pleasure was our server, Ryan, who was on the mark with his suggestions and fine attention to detail.

We look forward to returning here on our next visit to Buckhead.

Food was amazing. Right in Buckhead, nice ambiance. Crowded and menu was inventive. I had the lamb ragu pasta and I'll never get anything else it was that good! Excellent service. Great spot to meet friends or go as a date. Nice valet parking a bonus! Grab a drink at St Regis before dinner!
