We walked past this place several times and despite noticing the relatively cheap €13 menu of the day, only entered after a week of walking by.
Begur restaurants are very deceptive and once through the door we saw a very clean compact restaurant in excellent condition.
The service was friendly and attentive, the house wine included in the price was fine.
The food was well presented and well cooked. It wasn't high end cuisine but at the price point represented good value for Begur.
It is easy to spend a lot more and you will need to make significant improvement on this lunchtime menu.
Recommended.

Can Pere renovado pero conservando su ambiente acogedor y familiar. Un placer volver, es como comer en casa.

The renovated Can Pere is still keeping its cozy and family atmosphere. A pleasure to come back, it's like eating at home.

Found this place by looking online for restaurants with value and not catering to tourists.

What a find.

Starters where calamares a la romana (battered squid) and buñoles de bacalo (cod 'balls') and asparagus.

Mains were the meat and seafood paella, kid chops, and grilled squid.

Every single items was perfect.

Dessert was home made crema Catalans and lemon mousse as well as ice cream and mixed nuts and raisins.

A beer, 2 bottles of sparkling water, 1 litre of sangria (home made) and two half bottles of house wine. 4 single coffees and some Orujo for all.

Price? €115

Value is 5 stars.

Service was excellent and not rushed food was all cooked beautifully and service was simple.

A perfect dinner.

On the way out we also saw that they do rotisserie chicken and with 24hrs notice will also do legs of lamb and pork shoulder.

Perfect!

Shame is I never took photos of the meal!

We had the menu of the day. It was such good value for money and the food was really well cooked. The local wine was so cheap and very drinkable. The owners were very helpful and the whole place had that authentic feel. Plenty of locals inside which is always a good sign.
