Visit Mt. Samat Shrine for a relaxing experience. It will be appreciated by both young and young at heart:) Entrance is very cheap (20 pesos per pax i.e. $0.50) and it already includes the entrance to the Museum. What more can you ask for?

Visiting the place makes me recall my history, recalling the unnamed soldiers in the death march. The place is rich in stories of brave men and women who fought for our freedom. Riding the small elevator is an experience taking you back to several years of history. Reaching the top you can see the view below which is quite beautiful. This is worth the visit.

This shrine commemorates the bravery, courage and sacrifices of Filipino & American soldiers when the Japanese invaded the Philippines during World War II.
The shrine is 302ft high memorial cross, made of steel, concrete & marble. An elevator and a view deck at the arms of the cross where you can see entire Bataan.
This is a perfect place where you can connect with the past or appreciate nature.

This place houses some relics of the Bataan Battle. The stronghold that fell after 3 months of holding down their grounds.
The museum holds some information of how the battle went about.
Its also recommended to visit Corregidor so that you can know more about the history of Battles in and around the Philippines and their road to independence.
