Albert you are awesome!! :P
On arriving to this hotel i have to admit we were a little doubious, as the hotel is a bit further away from the main town than expected and up a hill. This however was later found to not be a problem.
We were shown to our room by Sally who although speaks little english ALWAYS has a smile on his face! The room was of good size with a nice bed, mini fridge, nice sized bath room and lovely view over the pool/bar, ocean and Icmeler itself! We had one little problem with the taps on the first evening with them not having any water come out but after leaving it on for a few mins they started to work fine again. Going back to what i said earlier about the hotel being up a hill, its not too bad getting down but a great way to work off your earlier meal getting back up! When you do get down there are little busses that arrive every15 mins to take you in to icmeler or Maramris for only 2.50tl each :) (make sure you get the orange ones).
The breakfast at the hotel was probably the only let down and we had the same things every morning..there are plenty of restaurants in icmeler that do big bfasts so you could go there for a change. They have a games room on the top floor which has a fantastic view!
The pool...even though we didnt have time to try it was always lovely and clean, we never saw any debris/mould in there once and we often sat next to it to enjoy our lovely cocktails after a long day out :)
Would definitley recomend this hotel to others and would deffo stay again! like i said the staff are all great! always polite and always helpfull!!
Had a lovely holiday and looking forward to a trip back in the near future!!
Katie & Jeremy xx

Room Tip: Ask to be on the higher floors for the better view.

I would like to start by thanking the people above they are the best ever! after I came back from Turkey I started feeling very emotional its been 2 weeks and I still feel the same I feel like I've lost apart of my family that's how close Syrup, Damlah & Tunahan ment to us I never ever felt like this after I came back from any holiday and I want sponsor these people and get them to the UK. Salih and Mohammed were very sweet to even tho their English was not too good but over all it was AWESOME!!! Love you all will be coming back very all.

Now there certainly are mixed reviews on this site which worried me after i booked the hotel. I will always be fair and honest with my reviews and i can say this is the only place that i have left and was tearful as we made some great friends and we have been very lucky to have travelled quite a lot. Without a dought the best part of the hotel is the staff, Albert is a fantastic guy and really couldn't do enough for you he really did make our holiday... Sally as well at reception (although did struggle with english but you are in Turkey what do you expect) couldn't do enough for you and was learning as much as he could and we enjoyed the comments that he came out with bless him.

The rooms are very spacious and the view in my opinion is the best in Icmeler, the pool was lovely and we didn't find it dirty at all but your are surrounded by pine trees so you are going to get some debrie not that we seen this. The negative part would be the breakfast as there really wasn't a lot of choice but again what do you expect as we only paid just over £100 for 10 days bed and breakfast. When we mentioned this to Albert he offered us some scrammbled egg or omlette as well so again done what he could for us.

The location is lovely and as i have said already the best view in Icmeler however there is quite a steep hill going up to the hotel and it was about a 10 - 15 min walk into the town. We enjoy walking but did find the hill tiring towards the end. However again Albert always offered for people to take us to the resturants if we wanted but we enjoyed the walk down to the town.

Icmeler was lovely and quiet which was ideal for us but not too far from Marmaris if you want more of a nightlife. we stayed in Icmeler as we felt that Marmaris was too built up for us personally. We went to Marmaris a couple times but was certainly pleased that Would i reccomend this hotel??? Yes i would, agreed it is not a 4 star hotel but we found it clean and spacious amazing staff... the food not great but if you enjoy eating out then this doesn't matter. I wouldn't do half board here. Ohh one last thing Albert organised a Turkish night with some dancers as we reqested it with a couple friends that we made there and we really had a fantastic night that we will not forget.

Thank you again to Albert and the team and we wish you all the best for the future

This hotel has a lot of potential to be great however, upon arrival we realised that the drive to the hotel was up a very long steep hill.... we also noticed that there was no other hotels close by..... now now now....when we first entered the hotel, our impression was positive, we then entered the room and it was very spacious and nice, however.......the toilet had skid marks inside (disgusting) the bathroom itself did not seem very hygienic...we wore slippers to shower in bcoz we didn't want our feet to touch the tiles. also on the bathroom subject.. the hot water chose to be hot when it wanted to and cold when it wanted to, which was very inconvenient as we had excursions to attend to every morning....

the staff at the hotel could not speak English, only Albert and another lady could.... this was very hard for us as tourists... i asked one of the colleagues for toilet roll tissue and it took about 10mins for her to understand what i wanted.....

the hotel breakfast was not much for choice.. we only enjoyed the bread and the Tomato

also the games room was rubbish.. there is only one pool table, and to play you have to find/call Albert so he can set it up...the gym is very basic and not up to speed......

the hotel offer Turkish bath, sauna but i would advise you to go to an excursion place to book a turkish bath seeing that the prices are much cheaper and much more hygienic then doing it at the hotel. the local watch man provides the turkish bath, so it wont be much fun if you plan to go with a friend/s as you would have to wait for each other to be done.

the swimming pool looked good and clean from far but there was some funny looking things inside it...even doe we saw the pool man clean it every morning, but to be honest i dont kno what he was cleaning as it was always dirty.... on the other hand, in the night time, the pool lights up to different colours which was very very nice, espec looking from your hotel balcony

oh yh, the curtains are not wide enough to draw the whole window which was annoying.

As you will see from my heading title 'the hill of darkness' i would advise you never walk up that hill to get to the hotel in the night time as it is very very very dark with trees (forest looking) surrounding you, there is also a small cemetery at the bottom of the hill...

overall the hotel is said to be a 4* but i think it is more of a 3* with potential to be a 4*... Icmeler is a nice area, but too small, so we used to go to Marmaris every day/night... its around 40-70Turkish lire to get taxi from Marmaris to Icmeler so its best to get on the shuttle bus which is only 2.5 Turksih lire... Icmeler is to relax, Marmaris is to mingle, have fun, see more people and have fun.

overal Turkey is an amazing country and i will defiantly go back, but next time i will be staying in Marmaris for definite

It was our first holiday to Turkey and we arrived late at night, during a thunderstorm and power cut. Hence the hotel was in complete darkness. We had booked a double room but was allocated a twin room, so we went to reception and changed to another room. Unfortunately this room was not ready for occupancy. It was cold, the TV did not work and we were facing the pine forest although we had paid extra for a sea view room. In the morning Albert (the manager) was on hand and we were given a double with a sea view. immediately. From then on the holiday got better and better. All the staff were very helpful and cheery and Albert was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and he made our stay all the better. The views from the balcony were spectacular and compensated for the steep hill climb to the hotel. The pool area was spotless and very private, We were very fortunate to have water as most of the pools in the surrounding hotels were empty!. Icmeler itself was beautiful and the local people were lovely,.......living alongside all us tourists,...such a beautiful town and much preffered by us personally to Marmaris. With a few tweeks and a lick of paint to freshen up the rooms, this hotel would be fab. Can't wait to go back, to visit Albert and all his fantastic staff.

Room Tip: The only negative is that the hotel boasts that it caters for disabled. Although the rooms are well...

Not the best hotel i have stayed in but had a brilliant holiday!! The rooms were spacious and very clean. The cleaner's made a brill job, as im a very messy person, the cleaner's made the room look immaculate when they had finished. Although there was no hot water from the taps, the showers were hot and quite easy to use. The breakfast was ok, but it got a bit repetitive. The location was a bit out of the way from the centre of icmeler, about a 20 min walk, but the dolmus was very regular and was a very cheap way of traveling round. I wouldn't advise this hotel if your bad on your feet as there is quite a steep hill leading up to the hotel. The view from the room was fantasic, you could see the whole of icmeler and the sea going across to marmaris. Fairly cheap hotel bar, and a good choice of drinks, specially spirits, although not much beer choice, only efes. Alberto the hotel bar manager was brilliant !! He would go miles out of his way to help you and he was a great laugh. Would return again. Would like to say a big thank you to alberto and the staff!!!! :)
