Location 3 outta 5
miles from anywhere had to get taxi or bus to go anywhere.

food 3 outta 5
good food but lack of choice.

Room 4 outta 5
Good room but bit run down.

3 outta 5
entertainment staff tried but rest of staff seemed stuck to their mobiles esp bar staff

We booked up to stay for 10 nights and stayed 4,holiday rep did great job getting us transferred the main problems we had was lack of choice for meals and the amount of wasps where unbelievable could not get near certain sections of pools.
Management where fine at first but when realised we asked for transfer got really shirty with us but hey ho.
As for entertainment it was none exsistant realy too quiet.
We had high hopes when reading reviews but was badly let down.

Stayed at the Julian Forest suites in September. After a disastrous start with our Thomas Cook flight cancelled, we arrived 24 hours late . We were greeted my a gentleman on reception and although it was the early hours of the morning he took us to our room and showed us how everything worked.

Just wished the safety deposit boxes were included in the all inclusive price.

We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely on the 2nd floor in the original Julian Forest Suites. Only issue was bottled water was not renewed daily, but you could fill the bottle from the bar area.

Pool areas was ideal hardly any one at the hotel so had the pick of the sun loungers. There is a problem with wasps/bees and I was stung. This did not really affect the holiday.

Food was plentiful and a decent choice. The restaurant area does need to be updated and perhaps on the evenings tablecloths and maybe tea lights to create a nicer atmosphere. I do think though the area is being updated over the winter months. The restaurant is in the newly acquired part of the hotel.

Also need free wi fi. Not to pay extra

Any way to sum up. We loved the quietness and laid back atmosphere we are now booked to go back September next year with Jet 2

Friendly staff in one of the most beautiful locations I've stayed.
Forested hills close on three sides make the air feel fresh regardless of the heat.
Nice pools with hidden waterslides tucked away with their own splash pools.
We stayed in October when around 27° but with cooler nights.
Manager Deniz upgraded us on arrival as hotel was quiet.
Very few kids, but the ones here had a wail of a time with ice cream a plenty.
Mix of nationalities among the guests which I prefer to be honest.
Food varied and edible, kids staying there seemed happy. Even our 16 year old girl seemed happy with the selection.
Dinky orange and white bus every 30 mins to town with friendly drivers for 2 lira per person.
Entertainment team remember everyone's name which is a miracle considering.
Spa treatment guy not pushy although seemed a little pricey. Sure bargains to be had through haggling and safe environment.
Would I come again?
Well done to this hotel.

Food was quite good there was something for everyone. Rooms were clean and bright. There were a lot of areas around the hotel that need a lot of TLC I understand that there is to be improvements going to be made. On the whole the staff are pleasant but a few don't even try to be courteous. The hotel is outside of Icmeleron the edge of the forest, so there is nothing else in the area. The bus runs every few minutes into Icmeler and Marmaris. At the moment it is difficult to get around the hotel if you have problems walking.

Room Tip: Do not book top floor room
