Spanking. Clean, friendly, perfectly situated. Staff are great, Emma (I think…surname Dodds) fab lady. Will definitely stay again. Only went for a long weekend and enjoyed it immensely but will definitely be returning. Shared bathroom but we are both ex-army so not a problem. The towels were really fluffy. Not advertised but they provide tea and coffee making facilities and a hair dryer.
I recieved a Warm welcome on arrival, was given small double with own bathroom on the ground floor, the room looked recently refurbished..it was spotlessly clean, the bed and bedding were superb.Good choice of breakfast in the morning promptly served with a smile . What more do you need.
As always we had a great stay from arrival to leaving nothing was to much trouble everywhere was spotless the Breakfast first class and the staff from reception to the waitresses and housekeeping were very friendly and ready to exchange a few words. The fridge in our room mentioned we could store some medication safely. Look forward to our next visit.
We booked the room through booking.com which we always use. This was booked and paid for in January 24.
I rang up just after I had booked it to ask if there was a lift. The gentleman said no I explained I had a mobility problem and would find stairs a difficulty he assured he would sort out a lower floor room
When we arrived the lady at reception gave me the key to a room on the top floor where there were three flights of stairs. When I got up there I had to stay up in the room as I would have had problems again so I wasn’t able to go out for the evening
We knew it would be a shared bathroom but it didn’t have a separate toilet and we had to share this with about five other rooms
We found it difficult and it was so hot we drank quite a lot of water which meant needing to use the toilet which became difficult
It was for one night only but it was a poor experience
The greeting at reception was friendly and we added the breakfast to our stay on arrival - well worth it. Our room was medium sized, good shower and ample storage space for our stay. The bath towels were luxurious and the addition of a bottle of water and tea making facilities in the room was great. Wimbledon was on so great to have the tv and free Wi-fi was an added bonus. Limited car parking but we did not experience an issue.
