This place is worth the visit. Beautiful and breath taking. Trees that are giants and reach to the sky. A beautiful creek runs between the two trails and gives a solid no of tranquility. The trees made me feel so small and I gained such a respect for that forest.

Not the best attraction for a rainy day, but beautiful any way. Many trails to follow, depending on your physical condition, with many opportunties for pictures.

Muir woods is amazing. My family visited the park in December and even though it was freezing it was still amazing to see. We would've love to spend a whole day there as they had amazing trails. The red woods are amazing to see, very picturesque.

This is a historic place and wonderful view of very very old trees..Seniors can buy a life time to all national Forrest for $10 ...you can breath better then than any air outside of the area. There are plenty of restrooms and souvenirs with food. So enjoyable. ..I have a breathing problem and had no trouble walking on the smooth paths.

What a fantastic morning we had with Tom. Got there well before anyone else and had the entire forest to ourselves for the first 2 hours of our walk. Tom was so knowledgeable and good company. We even spotted some salmon heading up the stream. Definitely a highlight of our 10 day stay in San Francisco. Highly recommended.
