The worse meal I had in a long time. I was sure that all the bad comments could have not been so true so we took a chance and made the reservation and we walked to the restaurant. The moment we walked in we didn’t have a good feeling however we dismissed it and said let’s be positive and try. The waiters came by to take the order and made few suggestions. We let her know that we eat kosher style so please no pork or shellfish just vegetables and fish.
I ordered a bottle of wine and it took 45 minuets before we were able to get clean glasses and the wine to taste. In the meantime the order came to the table all at once. Tomatoes salad was ok with too much heavy black tahini paste, the beets salad was pretty however unbeatable as it tastes overly cooked and strange taste. The Seabees regular and served with potatoes that had mole in them and the Salomon cold and over saturated in strong spices. The wine still didn’t come and we finally got the “ amazing home made Gnocchi that tasted overly cooked and heavy in oil and lack in taste. The Nagee fame by and Greg the plats saying that if it was not good we shouldn’t eat it. Brought back a meanie so we can order something else but never came to get the order. I cannot believe this is a Cheff restaurant the place was dirty and unpleasant. The girls serving to the table were sweet and apologize but no one with authority have even come by. The bill was hefty for not eating much. I would not recommend anyone taking a chance and spending an entire evening spending hard earned money and not getting its worth back.

The restaurant is located, in the beautiful setting of Zichron-Yaakov. The place itself is a gorgeous old stone house, the service was very good and the food was excellent- our teenage son enjoyed his steak, my husband loved his salmon (that was done to perfection) and our daughters liked the kids menu. It's less than an hour from Tel Aviv, and definitely worth the drive. Walking along the Main Street of Zichron after lunch, was also beautiful

The restaurant is in an old stone building at the top of the city which makes for a beautiful setting inside and out. We were a group of 5 adults and a three year old. The restaurant provided a child seat and was very accommodating. We ordered a lot of appetizers and were very pleased with the selection and quality. The service was friendly and efficient. Everyone was happy with the food and we left contented and well fed.
