We stayed here for a night as other options were booked.
A property is best reviewed in the context of what it is. This is a 2-star B&B/Guesthouse and that is what it delivers.
The property has 8 rooms of which 5 or 6 appeared to be occupied by residents working at the large nearby ore processing plant construction site. The rooms are very basic but do have a fridge. Our room was missing the light bulbs from the lamps for some reason. The bed was firm but not too bad. The ensuite was clean and functional. There is free WiFi in the building. The host (Mary) was helpful.
There is a common area at the back of the building containing a kitchen, TV lounge, and deck. Raw material was provided for breakfast (eggs, bread, juice, cereal, etc) but you needed to make that yourself.
The evening was quiet, but the other guests were up early to go to work. They were very noisy in the kitchen area and hallway while getting ready to leave.
As a 2-star guesthouse, this property is fine. As a B&B for vacationing tourists, it doesn’t really work well. The other B&Bs in the area are a bit more expensive, but you may find them more suitable for a vacation stay at the current time. After the construction project finishes, the character of the place may change back to more of a B&B vibe.
The B&B is priced lower than other properties in the area, so if price is the major factor in your choice it might be worth a look.
