Motel is located on Dundas Street West and about 10 minutes from the 401. Worth the drive Greeted warmly at front desk. Room was located at front of motel but street noise was not a factor as air conditioner was needed due to a heat wave. Very clean. All the necessary amenities. Quiet. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

The Fox Motor Inn is an excellent motel to stay along your travels at an affordable price. This is a family run motel. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. We had a mini fridge & microwave (which we did not use), WiFi excellent. The grounds are well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the pool. The staff and owner are friendly and accessible. Across the road is a good "family restaurant". Excellent breakfasts and coffee. We will stay here again and recommend it. The Fox Motor Inn is an affordable destination if you want to visit Picton & shop etc.
This was the last accommodation we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Canada. We stayed in a total of 7 different motels/B&B's and this was far and away the best. A number of places stayed in were very tired and weary looking and it was obvious in some that everything had been done on the cheap with attempts to be trendy failing miserably.
The Fox Motor Inn was the exact opposite. Everything was clean and new looking (and a lot of it was new). All paths and driveways were professionally done, the grass was neat and well cared for and the room that we stayed in was very spacious and pristine. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The Fox Motor Inn is the type of motel that one hopes to find but very rarely does. If we were to return to Canada in the near future we would go out of our way to stay there again.
Oh, I nearly forgot, there were also some very friendly longer term residents there as well. It all helps!
We went here as a couple for 1 night and our room was super clean, bathroom also, bed is comfortable, there is a convenient fridge in room, microwave, tv, cofeemaker, and pool.
The owners are super friendly, very attentionned to their guests and they helped us with all the indications on which beach to go and how to go at Sandbanks.
We find they are easily acccessible 5 minutes off hwy 401 and only 50 minutes to Sand banks beaches. Lots of restaurants nearby.
We will go back in August with the kids as we find this motel is the best in the area if you want to be assured to have a clean room and really good owners, and it's only 50 minutes away front magnificient Sand Banks beaches. You guessed right, we go there for the beach as we live in Montréal.
No hesitation, this is your place to stay
We always stay at the Fox Motor in when we are in the area. We were visiting Kingston, and haven't found anything as nice, so we travel to Napanee for overnight.
They used to include breakfast, and in my haste to book, I didn't read the fine print carefully. Breakfast is no longer included. The restaurant across the street doesn't open until 8 AM either. Covid has changed 'everything'.
The website didn't mention it, but the room had a coffee maker and complementary coffee in it. Thank you for that.
Family owned and run with pride.If you put a cigarette out on the property, you would feel bad, extremely clean.We walked the whole place barefoot.Sam and his family really care, not like these corporate places.
We would like cabina 112, with the bbq's right behind.Ya they have 4 bbq's.We have been talking about booking since we left.This place is that nice.
We could stay with family, still prefer the fox motel.
