Keawakapu beach has amazing sand, easy snorkeling (we saw lots of turtles) and never seems to be crowded. A hidden gem.

You will want to experience sunset here, and is truly one of Maui's precious gems. Clean, beautiful, white sand beach with the Five Palms Beach Grill, a must-experience. Fabulous!

A great long beach with fine sand and showers. Parking is available at two of the entries. The first entry is at a small parking lot just south of Mana Kai and just north of the Maui Oceanfront Inn. You can spot it by the yellow fire hydrant. Paddle boards are sometimes available. An ocean aerobics class meets at 9 Su Monday, Wed, Friday am just south of Sarentos restaurant . Bring a noodle and look for the teacher in a bright pink hat in the water. No charge but she does accept tips. Great class. Enter the ocean in front of the 2nd house to avoid rocks. Sometimes there are more than 30- 40 people in the class.

Another entry is across from a larger public parking lot where Kilohana Dr. meets S. Kihei Rd. Watch for the beach access sign.

A third entry has a small parking lot at the end of S. Keihei Rd.
It is easy to miss and is at the dead end where the road forks. Both the first and the 2nd entries have showers. This entry connects to the beach walk in front of the hotels at Wailea.
Bring sunscreen and an umbrella for shade. You can walk from the north end of the beach and continue to the beach walk in front of the hotels.
