The boat house tavern has come along way from just being a tradie bar with naked girls. The waterfire restaurant has become a very nice place for family to visit and enjoy. There is even a jumping castle for the kids .
However there are still 2 main problems.
1) is the price the meals are definitely not priced as pub meals. But the quality of food was excellent
2) you still get the tradies down the other end of the venue which can get a bit pull on sometimes.
Over all I would say it's worth going to and enjoy the outdoor dining area but don't go there if you try to eat cheap.
