3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Feb 12, 2019
stayed one night it was close to airport and convienient. neat and tidy, rooms as expected, not over the top not terrible, but that I need a tidy bed with a shower and no noise. Good for a medium end stay.

Stayed for one night with family of 8 in two rooms, both were comfortable, clean and provided a good nights sleep after a very late check in.
Hotel is definitely dated and could do with a makeover, however if you want more up market book elsewhere.
Staff were friendly and accomodating, wifi was ordinary and did not work in upstairs room.
Some road noise from nearby motorway, but otherwise budget accommodation close to the airport.

What a dump! Mould growing on window sills, severely stained carpet, patched walls, no smoke detector in one bedroom, moisture stains everywhere, shower door fell off while trying to close it, bathroom sink plug didn't release, trip hazards everywhere! Save your money and sleep in your car!

Stayed 3 nights in family room - 27 we all received multiple bug bites. There was an offer to bug bomb the room and gave us sleep in there that night still but this was not accepted as this could be unsafe for the children.
We were moved to two seperate rooms but the damage was done. The reason being they have lots of people coming from the airport is ridiculous.
We were then provided with expired milk.
There were no batteries in half the remotes for things, not enough teatowels or cutlery and no wifi was available unless you paid for it.

The only thing that was good about this hotel was the location - right next to Rainbows End and the mall.

    Don’t stay here.

Stayed one night as I had an event to go to near by.
IN REGARDS TO LOCATION/NEAR BY AMENITIES, less than 10 minute walk to Vodafone Events Centre. 5 minute walk to Countdown supermarket and adjacent mall. Rainbows End right across the road. Manukau Station (bus and train) about 10 minutes walk. However sandwiched right between motorways and main roads, so IN REGARDS TO NOISE, well it was pretty noisy. I must have woken up 3 or 4 times during the night. IN REGARDS TO EATING, this motel shares a carpark with Valentines buffet restaurant, and Dennys 24 hr + KFC are less than 3 minutes walk. IN REGARDS TO THE ROOM, it was dated by perfectly adequate. Bed was comfortable. The rooms do need a renovation but if you are only staying one or two nights it shouldn't be an issue. Would I stay here again? Yes, but for only a couple of nights if I had something I had to do in Manukau.

We are a family of 4 and stayed here for one night during a weekend trip to Auckland.
We enjoyed our stay - bedding was crisp and clean and rooms were warm. And the location is handy too - right by rainbows end and close to manukau McDonald's 😜
