Excellent location for our needs. 5 star accommodation. Beautiful room with all amenities. Great views. Very comfortable beds. 2nd floor access was easy and direct. Accompanying Restaurant in the complex had 1st class food and beverages. Ample car parking within easy reach
Car parking isn't clear. Although free, it is shared with a activity centre where there are signs for you to scan the code on the sign in order to pay for parking. The dishwasher didn't work as there was a drainage problem. I reported this to reception on the first night but nothing was done during a 3 night stay.
No windows open.
Although furnished for 2 (either twin or double), the only saucepan in the kitchen area was big enough for cooking vegetables for about 6 people. There was no lid for the saucepan.
There was a washing machine and tumble dryer but nowhere to hang the washing that couldn't go in the tumble dryer.
There was a lack of people manning reception. When I was waiting the receptionist was trying to deal with 3 separate guest at the same time.
Good transit hotel.Rooms clean if not spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced and ideal for an overnight stay. Plenty of free car parking. Close to Auckland International Airport. Couple of restaurants nearby but convenient to nip into the city if you have a car
The Ramada is a strange mix of permanent residents and hotel guests, but the hotel is clean, the room was a reasonable size and suitable for the night. The bed was very soft, possibly too soft but that’s personal preference. Breakfast was good although strange no hot drinks were provided with the breakfast, not even hot water
A convenient located hotel. Rooms are a modern layout. Some attention to cleaning would improve the overall feel of the place. Would not recommend the Restaurant on the ground floor.
Parking can be an issue.
