Authentic cuisine with a lot of Asian customers. The variety of dim sum (40+ items) and the pricing (4 price levels $3-5 an order) makes a Dim Sum lunch a pleasant experience. Happy to find this place at SLC, will definitely return when I get back there. Nice bright building with really high ceilings and a lot of windows. Kind of hard to access (need to get in from the back) the first time. Good fast service. Not the best dim sum I ever had, but very good overall, and well worth it.

So if you're looking for authentic chinese, this is the place to come in SLC. They have a large Cantonese menu as well as a decent dim sum menu. It's not the best dim sum in the world, but it's pretty decent. Surprisingly, the fish maw with crab meat soup was one of the better ones that I've had. Not too much corn starch and decent amount of fish maw and crab meat. The water spinach with garlic was also good. I'm not sure how the americanized chinese food is, but I would say, if you're coming here, order the authentic chinese food. You'll probably have better luck. Only thing was service was not great, but that's on par for authentic chinese restaurants, unfortunately.

Three of us and a child had a late lunch there on July 31, 2016, and upon arrival we first noticed the unkempt outside of the building. Several coffee sized cans partially filled with cigarette butts "decorated" the walkway. Plastic and paper garbage was strewn in the bushes leading to the building. Once inside the service was adequate but the food was low quality and unappetizing. The chicken that was supposed to be sweet and sour was neither and glazed making it look uncooked; the flavor was poor. I ordered pat thai which had no hint of peanut flavor nor bite. The egg drop soup had what looked like corn kernels from a can in it. The only thing decent served was the Chinese broccoli. With tip the bill was over $60 - not worth $30. We would caution anyone looking for a good Asian meal to avoid this place like the plague.

I ordered 5 things off the dim sum menu and they were all delicious. I'd highly recommend the juicy dumplings! This would be a great, fun place for a large group.

We have been to Dim Sum House several times now. The service is usually good though we once went during the weekday, and the service was so slow, we had to get up and ask for a server to come help us. We love their dim sum here. And it is really reasonable. Will keep going back for sure.
