Attractively arranged around a pretty seating area are several food counters offering international as well as American and local (crab cakes) fare. In addition to the indoor seating there are outdoor tables as well. Floor to ceiling windows let a lot of light and views into the space. Expect to spend somewhat more than you might like to at each of the counters. Shake Shack seemed to be the most popular venue on a recent visit and also seemed to have the more reasonable prices. It's all fairly new so going through its shakedown cruise. Service seems slow.

Go to the deli. Very nice staff, good deli food, not too expensive. Wide variety of traditional sandwiches. Enjoyed this!

OK, it was a little pricey, but my $12.50 pastrami sandwich had a lot of well-cured meat on it, with spicy deli mustard. The rye bread was toasted before I could tell that I didn;t want it that way, but it still has lots of cunch and tasted great!

This is where the people go who can't afford the sit down restaurants. Fried and fatty foods for bumpkins in overalls in Virginia Tech caps and extras from The Wire.
