My Sister in Law arranged for my husband and I to stay at Dorothy's B&B for our Anniversary. I was instantly in awe of this authentic Adobe home with private gardens and entrances to our spacious 3 room suite! The brick floors and stucco walls and tastefully decorated rooms instantly made one wish they lived there! The bathroom was a large spacious space with deep claw foot tub surrounded with SW tiles. Dorothy has thought of everything including bath salts and candles. Perhaps Dorothy herself was the Hallmark Hall of Fame B&B owner! She was so warm and friendly without being intrusive and served the most delectable breakfasts made with personal touches and love! I highly recommend the Adobe and Roses B&B! I still dream about it!

Near the best spots to visit, but basically a rural location, this hideaway is ideal for a break from a busy lifestyle. Large rooms and comfortable beds feel like home. Dorothy's breakfasts are delivered to your patio on a silver tray, at your desired time.
The quiet mornings are accented by the bubbling pond, and a friendly neigh from a horse next door. Within a couple of minutes you can access the nearby highway system and be anywhere in town in less than 20 minutes.
Our two Scottie's loved the expansive grounds!

We've stayed at Adobe and Roses a number of times, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Albuquerque. This year we stayed in the larger casita ... very private and romantic with a porch that overlooks a peaceful garden with a fish pond. The suite in the main house is also lovely - spacious, elegant, and wonderfully quiet. The property is in Albuquerque's north valley, only a ten-minute drive from Old Town and the perfect place to get away from it all. This visit was highlighted by the appearance of two roadrunners who came and went as if they owned the garden. Dorothy, the owner, is so gracious and hospitable and made us feel so welcome that she'd better watch out that we don't just move in forever next time!

We stayed here for one night on short notice. We were in a bind when another B&B forgot we were coming and thankfully, Dorothy had room. We stayed in the king room, one of two rooms behind the main house. It consisted of a large living room with a fireplace, small kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker and a large bedroom and bath. The unit is decorated very tastefully in southwestern style. The gardens surrounding the unit and pond are beautiful and peaceful. Dorothy makes breakfast for you the next morning and brings it to your room. She is a delightful, interesting and friendly host. I’m so glad we were able to discover this wonderful B&B in Albuquerque because we will be back.

Room Tip: There is a casita behind the main house with a king room and a twin room. Both are very private.

My wife and I (and chocolate lab, Abby) spent a wonderful night last week. A gurgling pond was just outside the door, and the rest of the property was surrounded by a variety of fragrant bushes. Beautiful, exotic chickens on the premises. A tasty breakfast was served and we had a very pleasant visit with the owner. This is the best-kept secret in the Albuquerque area!
