First time @ this property, but have stayed @ otther RIs in past and many other ABQ hotels. Located in area w/many other similar hotels, across street from Sleep Inn, and Holiday Inn and Courtyard also very nearby. Front desk staff is friendly, but seems to dislike styaing at front desk. When we checked in, the staffer had to leave her spot watching TV in lobby to check us in. At other times, the staffer (3 or 4 different ones) was playing online games on the computer in the business center or watching TV on sofa in lobby. Hallways smelled of dogs, as did the elevator. Yuck. Our room/suite needed to be cleaned better. Food drips and stains remained in the fridge, which had no ability to make ice (and we could not locate an ice machine). Light swithces were grimy. Dust and dirt in corners in rooms. Big patch of paint missing on wall in bedroom. Unpleasant surprise at 11 PM-when we pulled out the sofa bed for one person in our party, it was not made up. Had to hunt down bedding in the closet and make the bed. Not fun. Breakfast area too small to handle crowd. On the plus side, it was close to airport. Room met our basic needs for sleep and one night stay. Not a bad place, but someone needs to step up and fix the little things to make it as good as it could be.

Our family was visiting for a wedding and fiveof us stayed at this Residence Inn. We were very impressed with the quality of the rooms and the pleasant service. Even the studio suites are really spacious, and my family's two-bedroom suite was incredibly comfortable and a fantastic value.

The breakfast was fairly standard, but there was plenty of it. Not a lot of seating in the dining area, though you can always take your food back to your kitchen dining table. The staff was very helpful, provided us ice when our freezer was out, and was very accommodating for our family's varied arrival times.

The pool was a bit small, but clean and comfortable (it's indoors and heated).

We'll definitely stay here again when we're visiting.

This is a newer hotel and the rooms are very nice. The only downside is that they don't start serving breakfast until 0630 which doesn't allow for much time before I have to leave. Also they don't have any evening brunch on Thursdays. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. I have stayed here a few times and each time is very enjoyable.

We appreciate your comments, and are thrilled that you are pleased with the service you receive. While our hot breakfast items are not available until 6:30am, we do put out nearly all of our cold breakfast items at 4am in order to try and accommodate our earliest risers. We provide cereal, milk, yogurt, yogurt parfaits, a selection of breads, juices, and coffee. I hope that you give these items a try on your next stay.

This is the newest Residence Inn I have stayed in and I have to say I loved the room. The decor, comfort of bed and room in general, and amenities were perfect. I had a great night's sleep. Upon arrival, the night shift did not hear the door bell to open their sliding doors 4 times when we tried to check in because the tv was on too loud, but other than that she was decently friendly. This incident was not significant enough to detract from my experience at this hotel.

I had two vehicles windows smashed and much stolen only to find out from staff that there have been numerous break-ins here in the last few months. There is no security and no cameras outside. We were told that management does not want to spend the money......... Our stay has been very expensive and very disapointing

While there is no minimizing the experience that you had with your vehicle during your stay, I can say that whoever said management was unwilling to provide any security is not correct. The Albuquerque Police Department does do drive throughs of our lot in the evenings and overnights, as they do at all of the many hotels in the airport area. We try to advise guests to ensure that no belongings are left in sight in their vehicle, as regardless of how much security is provided, thieves are attracted to what they percieve as an "easy target" where they can simply "smash and grab". Any hotel, whether urban or rural can be faced with the same challenges, especially during times when theft crimes city-wide, and nation-wide have a slight uptick as people travelling and staying at home tend to let their guard down and become more attractive to thieves.
