“DOG HEAVEN”

Estes Valley Dog Park
Ranked #28 of 80 things to do in Estes Park

Been taking my dogs here for years! My Shilo--a Vizsla says it's heaven, so I must believe him! My Lucky--a Chiweenie agrees too! There is a lake there, without any fences towards the back area by the highway to watch for should your furry family member decide to make a break for it! In addition, this includes two areas for them to Frolick. One area is for dogs who love to climb over, under and through things--more like a training area for those dogs that love this kind of stuff. It's completely fenced in. The other side is where the lake is to watch out for. For the most part, I witnessed no fighting at all in over 10 years that I have been going there. It's a great place to go for a day and get away from the city. Estes Park is lovely and the mountains that surround this area are gorgeous!

Many friendly people and dogs. Got lots of good tips about how to enjoy Estes Park and the surrounding area. And, our dog Comet loves the place.

My daughter and family live in Denver and whenever they visit Estes, the dog park is their first stop,
When the car starts the decent on Hwy 36 in to the Estes Valley, the two dogs start to jump around because they know they're on their way to the park. Its a great place for dogs and family alike.

The park is clean and well fenced. A good place to give your critter a workout. Bring water. There are interesting walks close by.
