This ground floor cafe shares an entrance with the R. I. School of Design Museum. Rothko is the cook and Manet does the dishes.
The “messy egg” dishes are shimmeringly good. After all, a la Rothko they should be, but prices are fixed and a bit more reasonable. Likewise, for the avocado toast, yum yum. As you are in R.I. don’t forget the doughnuts. Every one eats doughnuts and these are “upper crust” specials.
The student/ex student waitstaff is friendly, helpful and competent.
Follow the lovely red brick sidewalk to enjoy a timely snack.
