Eastland Motel has an interesting and amazing feel to it. There is a certain groovy, retro vibe that you can’t help but enjoy and reminisce about, but the spot is also super clean, rooms are spacious, morning muffins are tasty, and the staff really couldn’t be any nicer. Unexpected bonus was that it has one of the best showers either my friend or I had ever had. When we go back to that part of Maine we would without a doubt stay here every time!

Love, love your choice of words to describe your room! Clearly you had the pleasure of staying in our orange shag room. We have replaced half of the carpets so far, but plan to keep one for you retro lovers! FYI - they are steam cleaned every week! We are keeping those showers though. The water pressure sure is a bonus! Thanks for the wonderful review. We hope you have the opportunity to return.

The people who run/own this motel are very friendly and helpful. You certainly can't beat the price! Our room was a bit dated but very spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed including a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It would have been nice to have an HD TV to watch the Patriots game, but they lost anyway. :-( And the rooms are in the process of being updated. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you. If you want to be able to walk somewhere to have dinner and a drink, you're better off in downtown Lubec.

It's a basic motel and it's immaculately clean. After a long day of driving, we were very happy to arrive and relax. Older women seem to run the place and they are very friendly, competent and filled with good advice for places to eat.

Thanks for taking time to write a review Nellie. We are happy you enjoyed your stay... most people check in for one night and ask to stay a week! Thanks for mentioning how clean the rooms are. We have an amazing crew here and are very lucky that they understand and appreciate the importance of immaculate rooms!
I’ve never called myself “older”... my body screams 50ish, but my brain is stuck at 20.

Wonderful place to stay on a coastal tour of Maine. Close to Quaddy Head State Park and Roosevelt Campobello International Park. They are also pet friendly. The owners are very friendly as well. They have a couple of picnic tables and grills set up outside so you can cook your own lunch/dinner. Breakfast is included with your stay that includes muffins, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juice.

Thanks for the review Jeremy!
Our pet friendly rooms are so popular, we had to expand to four now.
The large back yard is ideal for our pet owners and their dogs. The grills and picnic tables have come in handy too for our longer staying guests. Thanks for the mention. Hope you have the opportunity to return.

We were traveling with our pooch and The Eastland was the only pet-friendly establishment in town. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hosts were warm and welcoming. While the continental breakfast was nice, it needs some work, especially since there were very few local establishments who offer breakfast (we found one and it took over 30 minutes for our breakfast to be served); perhaps a separate room to give guests the opportunity to sit and enjoy their muffins, juice and coffee (twice I almost hit a guest with the door upon entering the office). The room does include a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Very good value for the $$$.

Room tip: Pet friendly rooms available
