Visited this park on a warm, sunny day. We toured the visitor center and watched the movie on the Saguaro National Park and Rincon Mountains.
We drove the 8 mile loop road and marveled at the cacti and even the few wildlife we saw.
This a a great way to spend a few hours.

The visitor center is nice, but smaller than other National Park centers. Good information. We found out about ranger led nature walk which was excellent. Good drive and walks nearby. Can easy spend the whole day here or just a few hours. Trails are mostly easy walks.

This refers to the Saguaro National Park East side of Tucson. The Visitor Center was crowded and lacked personnel. There were limited presentations compared to the west side.

The driving tour was somewhat better than the Westside however. There seem to be more hiking trails available on the east side compared to the West.

Depending upon your location in Tucson, both sites could offer an introduction to the desert.

Only looked around the Visitor's Center and viewed the movie. Then we proceeded to the location of the Sunset Tour. Our Guide did a good job explaining plants animals and different items pointed out on the desert tour. Nice hike and view was surprisingly special that night.
