“Bike/Walking Path”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

I have not been to the park other than to use the paths for walking. Both sides of the river are paved is most parts and there is a place where you have to cross over due to current construction. A few rest stops w/ bathrooms, water fountain and maps of the river park walkways. Lots of bicyclists and joggers too.

Level, paved, off the street, easy parking at several entrances, goes for many miles. Congratulations Tucson for funding this amenity.

“Great Urban Bike/ Walking Path”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 January 2012

Tucons and Pima county are doing a great job extending the Rillito River bikeway and hiking paths. It's great to be able to bike and hike along the 'river' and be able to stay away from the streets and crazy drivers. I hope that they will find the money to continue the extension project until they can have all of the Rillito, Tanque Verde Wash and Santa Cruz River lined with bike paths and hiking trails. A real gem in Tucson!
