This place is amazing and it’s in a beautiful quiet area that still has fun social places. I would definitely recommend. The plaza is alive but I slept like. Baby because it is peaceful. You must go to the venues at the plaza. The weekend holdsFoodInRoot Farmers' Markets. Good food and spirits, especially on Wednesday at Union Public House.

Family stayed at this Homewood Suites while in town for the USC-UA football game. Great location - close to many nice restaurants and only a 4 mile Lyft away. Very clean hotel and friendly staff. A++!

I recently stayed for a second stay at Homewood Suites but it was the first time since it became part of the Hilton Hotels chain. The property continues to be very well maintained, offer very good service and be very good value for money. After 12 hours in transit, I was particularly grateful to be allowed an earlier check-in.
Homewood Suites is located in a better part of Tucson, on the edge of small but lovely, Spanish-inspired, St. Philip’s Plaza. It is also very close to the University of Arizona and not far from the beautiful Santa Catalina mountains and up-market, La Encantada shopping mall which includes higher-end stores and a top-notch supermarket called AJ’s Fine Foods.
Our third (top) floor, king suite had separate lounge and bedroom areas, a kitchenette that included a full-size, stainless steel refrigerator and televisions in both the living room and bedroom areas. Although the pool view suites cost more, I booked and prefer staying in a city view suite that faces the Rillito River Park Trail. We had no traffic noise and, every morning, it was enjoyable to watch the joggers and cyclists who were on the trail, keen to do their exercise before the heat built up. Breakfast was included in the cost. The buffet offered was varied and of good quality. The lady on duty was very welcoming and the breakfast seating area was spacious and attractive.
This is a great place to stay. I will definitely be back.

Room tip: a city view room costs less, are quiet and have a more interesting view

Just finished an amazing one day get away stay at Homewood Suites . . It was like a wondrous 5 star vacation . .Every bit was fabulous. Loved the room, the pool, the food, the kind staff. great place to go and bring your family .. It couldn't have been better. I'm grateful there are still grand places you can travel to as a family.

We brought 5 soccer teams here for a tournament. This hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful weekend! Donna Lominac was an absolute pleasure to work with: providing us with names of local restaurants, switching rooms for people (queens vs kings), opening breakfast early for players, etc. Not to mention this recently remodeled gem is in a plaza with several great restaurants, each room has a full kitchenette, and plenty of parking! Thank you Homewood Suites!!!!
