We were all delighted with our Salem Night Tour on 10/4/2011. Our guide was "Reverend Peter," who, despite the dreary persistent rain and cold (ideal for setting the mood, actually) performed most excellenty with his storytelling, historical background info, and unique theatricality. I was particularly entertained with his weaving together of Salem history and creepiness to popular Parker Brothers board games. Our teenage daughter capture even managed to capture (on video) what appears to be a "glowing" gravestone and a "floating orb" at our first stop at the Witch Hysteria Memorial site.

I highly recommend this attraction to anybody who is reasonably fit for walking and wants a truly unique Salem experience. My compliments to Reverend Peter for an unforgettable tour. Thank You!

Our tour guide was the Grave Digger, and he was great! He really knew his history and told really great stories. We make it a practice to take the local ghost tour when we vacation in a city in the evening. It's an entertaining and interesting way to learn something of the place you are visiting. We've been on ghost tours from Gettysburg, Williamsburg and Savannah to Honolulu. We think this one was among the very best we have attended.

My boyfriend and I visited Salem this past weekend (September 24, 2011). Although the town itself is very interesting and fun, The Salem Night Tour, is what really brought the history of this spooky town to life. Rev. Peter White, our tour guide, was amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and articulate. He made the tour a learning experience. We visited several spots along the way and learned of hauntings and history that leave you wondering what it must have been like to live back in the 1600’s. I recommend this tour to anyone heading to Salem. Ask Rev. White to tell you about the curse of the Sheriffs.

I recently purchased tickets on groupon so I thought I'd check them out. It's advertised as a ghost tour but it was mostly historical information. It was different than I expected. The tour guide seemed very knowledgeable about history (although he told a lot of cheesey jokes) but I expected more ghost stories. His speeches were also very long and wordy and my back and feet hurt from standing in one place too long. It would have been nice to have someplace to sit once in a while. All in all, it was ok, I learned some interesting things..but I've been on better tours.

My family and I were taking the tour thinking it was about ghosts. We were actually pleasently surprised that it was more about history. Im not positive on our tour guides name but I believe he mayhav been fairly new. He was amazing! He really new his stuff....every piece of info he gave, I googled to see more history on. He was very eneretic and full of life which was very refreshing! We wil highly recommend this tour! The only thing I was dissapointed with was the gentleman that walked with him to guide traffic was complaining about him to the owner while my son and I were in the gift shop. I desperatley wish I could remember our guides name, I want to say it was Fred? He was just great.... my whole family enjoyed him!
