Coffee Time is a bit off the beaten tourist path in Salem, but well worth the visit if you enjoy fresh delicious pastries. It's only a 2 minute drive from downtown, head down Bridge St towards Beverly Salem Bridge (don't take the bypass road). About a 10 minute walk. They have amazing fresh pastries, including some seasonal specialties In the fall they have a wide variety of cider donuts. If you are not from the area, and have never had a cider donut, these are not to be missed. Around Easter they sell Paczki, absolutely amazing Polish cream filled, fruit topped donuts. They are open early and late, so a good place to visit before visiting attractions, or after a long day. Several booths, and great refreshing smoothies, coffee, and other cold drinks.
