“Just another Cave”
Reviewed 5 March 2012

If you've seen one cave, you've seen them all. Worth the trip if you are not familiar with or really enjoy caves. In typical fashion, this cave is huge- AKA Texas Size.

“It was amazing to see what mother nature put below our feet.”
Reviewed 29 February 2012

Since I had a half day off today, my wife and I decided to check out the Natural Bridge Caverns. The natural caverns were about a 20 minute drive from our hotel, JW Marriott.

We arrived right around 11:00 and were lucky enough to get in on the tour that had just started. The tour takes you down 18 stories, or about 180 feet underground.

While we have visited many caves over the years, the formations and the diversity of this cave we found amazing. The tour guide was very informative and we really enjoyed learning about the history of the cave and the area.

I would highly recommend this tour.

Note:

Wear closed toe walking shoes.

The temp of the cave is 70 degrees year round. But when you factor the 99 percent humidly you will find the temp feels more like the 80's.

Cost of the 70 minute tour for two adults was $38.00 US.

I will post photos, later next week.

“Good learning experience”
Reviewed 27 February 2012

We went in October 2011. the caves are dim and humid. Lets just say, if you can make it a ponytail day, do. The stalagmites and tites were amazing. there is some hiking, need tennis shoes and be able to climb a hill with out getting too winded for the tour. there are some tight spaces and open spaces. They take your pic at the end. my 5 year old was a bit creeped out from the start because the entry way was a bit dark.

“nice tour”
Reviewed 27 February 2012

This was a great tour. It lasted about 45 minutes. The walk was a bit strenuous for people who are not used to walking uphill. It is really humid so make sure to wear light clothing. It was cold outside but as soon as I got inside I was shedding the layers.
