Is what kept me from giving this a total five.
The Sunday Brunch menu was fun, the food was fabulous, and we loved the atmosphere. A DJ on a Sunday was fun!
I had the bloody Marie which was too spicy for most of the table to drink. The chefs pick omelette were brussel sprouts and tomatoes, truly delicious.
The burger looked wonderful, with two thin patties and all veggies as expected.
The pistachio almond French toast pieces were the size of walls which allowed it to be shared.
The Apple crapes were just OK.
But the menu was so fun, next time we will coordinate a lunch time visit!
Plan to pay $10 for parking because it is non-existent.

Right from the start we knew we where in for something different. Wonderful eclectic décor and seating greeted us as we entered the restaurant. The menu options were amazing. We opted for the Ground Lamb Kabobs which did not disappoint, the Brussel Sprouts were an amazing contrast in flavor provided by the shallots, mustard vinaigrette and orange gel. The Prince Edwards Mussels were plump and savory. We sopped up the broth with the crusty sourdough. The Pièce De Résistance was the 44 Farms Burger, grass fed Beef from a local farmer perfectly cooked and covered with cheese, bacon, onion and house sauce. Juicy and delicious. Couple of glasses of nice vino rounded out our visit.

Such fun and a culinary adventure. Nicholas was a great menu guide but we wanted to taste whatever the chef was most proud of. We went with "Chef's Choice" and were not disappointed. Stress free dining while tasting the best the chef had to offer. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed the view of the tree lined street with all the folks out walking and enjoying the city.

My one experience perhaps did not live up to the hype, but I did like it enough to think that it was likely worth another try. I really liked the PANCAKE BATTERED SAUSAGES, but was disappointed in the HOUSE DONUTS. The HANDKERCHIEF CREPES just didn't quite add up to delicious, and the FEAST OMELETTE had wonderful and fresh ingredients, but was somewhat dry and bland. Service was friendly and meant well, but was perhaps stretched a bit thin and not great at communicating with each other. Perhaps it's the BLOODY MARIE speaking, but I feel like despite an average experience, I think another visit could easily go much better and I enjoyed myself enough to try it again. Fingers crossed!
