Service is exceptional, a family run business and it shows in the attention you receive upon entering. the owner himself will describe his menu with a flair not much seen anywhere. the food is buttery rich, with a tenderloin steak that is superb. Fresh sea food all prepared in unique sauces. The crepes in a caramel pecan sauce is the perfect finishing touch. If you dont fell like choosing ask ernesto to select your courses based on sea food, beef or chicken and wait for the adventure to begin. Perfect place to relax in a romantic candle lit place even on a weekday

Ernesto's service is some of the best service in ANY place I have ever been. It is family owned and they take great pride in their service. The food is good, not great. There are several sauces. They are different but tend to end up tasting similar if not the same. The beef is more of a traditional Mexican style cut not a thick Ruth's Chris type cut. The price is a little more than I would care to pay for this type of food, but what keeps me coming back despite the price is the overall experience. The facility is not the most impressively decorated place I've been but it is charming and, importantly, private. Go give it a try, you will enjoy yourself.

My buddy said it was a Mexican place with a French flare. He was right. The menu was Mexican with a choice of 8 buttery French sauces. I am not a buttery guy - especially on Mexican. I was disappointed a bit. On the flip side the service was up in the top 10 I have ever had and their margarita's kick butt! The menu was a bit pricey and the location was in a strip mall. If you are into unhealthy buttery mexican you will be in heaven. Otherwise you can do better in San Anotonio.
