We enjoyed our summer family vacation at Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch. Great recreational facilities, pool, lazy river, hiking and other activities. The staff was very friendly and helpful to all of our needs. Our grandchildren enjoyed the special activities.

Nice facility. Newer timeshare. Drought conditions bring the rattlesnakes in. Had to kick a baby rattler off the sidewalk one night. Nice lazy river. Barbecue outdoors. Close to seaworld. Hotter than hades, San Antonio is.

Thank you for taking your personal time in giving us and trip advisor viewers great feedback. We are glad you were able to enjoy the facility and services overall offered in our hill country setting and fun environment. We are truly blessed to be in a fantastic location where our owners and guest can feel they are away from the daily hustle and bustle. But yet close enough to drive and enjoy what the city has to offer. As a commitment to our owners and the Hyatt brand , even though the property was opened in 2004 , we continue to enhance the facility and the product offered through minor upgrades thus offering quality guest units which you experienced. We appreciate your business and hope to assist you and the family in the near future.

This was our second family vacation here and we had a good time. Grandma joined us for this trip so we stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was perfect for our needs. It had all the dishes needed so we could have meals there. Recently updated and the bed was super comfy this time. The negatives about the room were that the master shower didn't drain well and there were wasps on the balcony. Maintenance sprayed the wasps per our request but no one ever came back to clean the mess up. The pool and slides were lots of fun and the lazy river, although much colder than the pool, was very refreshing after playing in the sand. The location of this resort is excellent and we spent our whole time here just hanging out.

We ate at JB's this time and were not impressed - portions are way way too big, especially for the kid's meals and service lackluster (especially with an automatic 18% gratuity added). Wouldn't recommend eating there, too many good restaurants within a short drive.

Overall, this resort is a great place for a family vacation and we will likely return.

The rooms were nice and maintained. Just had some water problems (no one's fault) and construction being done around us but didn't bother us. Loved the lazy river and pool and slides. My sister who is blind was able to get in water and lazy river for first time in years which we were all excited about for her! There were daily activities, most for children but we don't party anyway. Good location to all the things we planned. Had a great time at the resort!!

I was hoping it was going to be as good as it looked and it was.

We booked a 2 BR through Interval International as we have timeshares.

When we arrived we could see the place was quite nice from what we saw of the outside at night. Reception was nice as was the girl who checked us in.

We got to the "room" and were floored. It was awesome. It was a full 2BR, 2 BA with an AMAZING master bathroom with a large and immaculate jacuzzi tub with a separate glassed off shower and a glass-enveloped toilet AND his and her sinks. Wow!

We had a large balcony and a very nice kitchen area AND a washer and dryer.

The pool areas were very nice. Part of the pool was "indoors" and was contiguous to the outdoors. There were two cool waterslides. The indoor area had a basketball hoop so you could shoot baskets from the water. There was a small hot tub inside as well. There was a ping pong table, too.

The only complaint I have is that the entire pool is quite shallow mostly 3 feet or so and is kid-centric.

There is a very large outdoor jacuzzi. I am guessing that it is 12 or 13 feet in diameter.

There is a bar at the pool as well. Catch up with Paul and try his special delicious cocktail.

Further down the trail is the Rattlesnake River. It is not really a river, but is an 800 foot man-made place to inner tube. It's a blast and always had exceptionally clear water. There is a bar, a beach area with real sand, a jacuzzi and lots of cool shady areas to lounge in chaise lounges with some privacy, even by the water's edge.

My only complaint is the inexplicable omission of a bathroom there; you have to walk back to the Windmill Pool. Rather odd and inconvenient.

Lastly, our time was up and we decided to see if we could stay longer. One of the people at Reception, Margaret, was awesome and worked out a great deal for us to stay in our same room for three more nights. I was asking only for a 1BR to save money, but she gave us a great rate and we kept our awesome room. Thank you!!!

We did not use any other amenities, but there were more to be had such as a putting green, outdoor firepit, playground, etc.

This is a great place for couples or, definitely, to take the kids.

Highly recommended!

Ben
