I stopped in to look at the church and it was just beautiful. It reminded of the church I grew up in. I returned to attend the Saturday vigil mass. Everyone was welcoming to the tourists and the service was very good. The priests gave a great homily. I felt at home at this church. I'm really glad I went.
They also have a gift shop next to the church that is opened during the week. I purchased a small angel for a friend who recently lost her husband.
This church helps to feed the homeless in San Antonio. The first weekend of every month they take up a special collection to help feed the homeless that come to their doors. Good people doing good work
