They are only open for breakfast and lunch but the prices are some of the best on the island. We shared a sandwich, bowl of soup. and a tall latte and an iced tea for under $20. All the ingredients were fresh and the bread was baked on site. The clam chowder is the best on the island. The sandwich came with a pickle and potato salad both of which were excellent. The staff will usually bring your food out and they are very customer oriented. The owner is usually behind the counter and he loves his restaurant. Plus he stops to chat with the customers. This place is the opposite of the big corporate chain restaurants we all get so tired of. The restaurant is located across the street from the sheriffs office and isnt right downtown. But it only takes about 3 minutes walking at a very stroll to get there. He has inside seating and also a large deck that overlooks the small boat harbor. And there are flowers and roses everywhere. It is what I would call a gourmet sandwich place so if you want a plated meal youll want to go elsewhere. But if you want good food at a great price be sure to drop in.
