The special exhibits on fabric arts are the best I have ever seen and so important to recognize fiber arts in a museum

A stunning setting, striking building and unique permanent exhibit, as well as interesting special exhibits. The collection of artifacts is wonder-inspiring. A perfect museum for the whole family.

Spent most of time in exhibition: Multiple Visions; a Common Bond. Very interesting historically; packed with items (see museum website). Suggest get free audio tour which was great even if a bit hard to always match numbers on windows with audio. Fun gift store. All of Museum Hill great...wish we had had time for more. Btw: café on hill is 5 star for lunch; get window seat

Twice I have gone to this museum while visiting Santa Fe and I just do not get it. I am in and out of the building in less than an hour which is a waste of $12. Folk Art must be for some but not me. I will say that the quilts from China were worth seeing. Also the Museum Hill area itself is lovely with no parking problems like downtown.
