Ate there yesterday and it was very busy on a Friday afternoon. Good sign. Waited 20 minutes. The food was very good but not best in class for New Mexican and I found the menu a bit limited. My wife had the Atris Combo, I had the Rio Grande combo plate; both combos that came with a taco. The Atris Combo came with a Relleno and it was kind of soggy but OK otherwise. Mine came with Chicken Enchilada which while good it can't compare to Red Enchilada down off Cerrillos (yes, it isn't much to look at but the food is much better). Posole is always nice to have but I found this version a bit lacking in flavor. Sopaipilla's came with both, not greasy but not real fluffy. Red chili was very good with nice heat, green was bland. Service was good and the kitchen served is quickly. I suspect a lot of people come for the full bar and the bar was packed. And the food is good. Maybe for this location in town, the best but if you're into better NM food, La Choza, Red Enchilada, Los Amigos (if they ever reopen) and even Pecos Trail Café more unusual Mexican (not necessarily New Mexican) Los Portillos is IMHO, better.
