I've had a time share week at Las Brisas for many years and wouldn't want to be anywhere else when I'm in Santa Fe. Ive rented other units as well during my "off time", and have never been disappointed.

The location can't be beat. It's close to the cutting edge Art Scene at the Railroad Yard, has a wonderful restaurant across the street, walking distance to the Plaza, etc.

If you are looking for a place with a pool for kids, this is not the place. If you are looking for a terrific place to call home while visiting Santa Fe, look no further.

We are renting #27 for the week. It is a spacious 2 br/2 bath with lovely Santa Fe style. The location couldn't be better; walking distance to the plaza and a short drive to Museum Hill and great food stores. Free parking for our rental car and a newspaper at the front door every morning. I was very surprised to see a very negative review written a couple of months ago. Although the appliances are somewhat dated, we found the place to be clean and very comfortable. We have found everything we need to be here and have particularly loved using the fireplace. We have loved having a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The low season rates are great. We will definitely rent again when we return for a second vacation.

Quiet, clean, nicely appointed, original art-work. An easy walk to the SF Plaza and art galleries in the canyon. Large flat-screen TV. A pleasant place where it is easy to just get your groceries from the near-by Whole Foods and eat at "home".

Room tip: #31 has a sunny little courtyard for enjoying your morning coffee and a décor to get you in the Santa Fe spirit.

I have already contacted the manager regarding our stay. The condo unit we stayed in, #27, lacked any periodic maintenance and the unit is in dire need of a deep cleaning. The overstuffed furniture was tired and dirty. We spread a bed sheet over the couch before sitting on it. The 'cleaning person' has extra bulbs in the cupboards but doesn't feel obligated to replace the burnt out fixtures. Front door looks like a cub scout pack ate a chocolate cake and then opened the door 100 times. It really needs to be cleaned and painted. In fact, the whole unit needs to be painted. The toilet seat upstairs is broken, very easy and inexpensive fix. Towel racks are loose and crooked, the back patio is beyond use as it is covered in mold and debris, as is the picnic table. The front yard needs to be weeded and the tree limbs trimmed. That patio is also unusable. The $100 cleaning fee we were required to pay, is a joke. I would not even invite people in if in fact it were my unit. The owner has a cash cow and is not interested in investing any money for upkeep and maintenance. There are other condos in the complex that are up-to-speed and very nicely taken care of. We drew the wrong card.

We stayed for a week in a 3-bedroom condo here, and were delighted with the beautifully updated and decorated condo (#31), its proximity to the downtown plaza of Santa Fe (a very direct route, and less than one mile) and the excellent management and upkeep of the complex. The complex is very attractive, fairly new but of traditional adobe style, and most of the units are set well back from a quiet one-way street. The street that it's on leads directly down toward the Santa Fe plaza area, and it's easy to walk or drive to many restaurants, galleries, and shops. The galleries on Canyon Road are also within walking distance, about a mile. The condo itself is very well equipped, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen and WiFi and cable TV are included.

Room tip: Look at photos on the Las Brisas de Santa Fe website. The condos set back further from the street are probably quieter.
